It's been two year

It is now been two years since Emma had her heart calf before her surgery here are some pictures from that day. It amazes me to think that her little heart is doing so well now

I can't believe it has been three years

We will be celebrating Jemma's third birthday in a couple of weeks I can't believe how time flys. She is doing absolutely amazing. We spent the last year in speech therapy. In December of last year I was very concerned about her lack of word. She really could only say eat. Which she still does 100 times a day, LOL. We had her assessed and she was diagnosed with delays. She was at about the level of a one year old. With a lot of hard work by her and myself we had her caught up in six months. Yes she got 1 1/2 years with of words in 6 months. I was so proud. She is a feisty strong-willed determined sensitive little individual. We all love her so much. She had open heart surgery in June of 2014. She has recovered well from it. In fact her cardiologist has cleared her to go three years until her next appointment. She moved in with Daddy a bit ago and is so happy. She also stays with her grandma cynthia 3 days a week. It has been a great year for our sweet little chipmunk.

We all still think of Jewel often and wish that she was here as well. But we know that God called her home to him so that she wouldn't suffer here on Earth.

Like I said in the begining SHE IS FIERCE!!!! She is progressing with a lot of her milestones at her actual age. She is maybe a little tiny bit behind on a few things being between her actual age and her adjusted age. For those that don't know adjusted age considers her due date of April 12th as the age to compare to what milestones she should be achieving not her actual birthdate of Jan 14th 3 months early. We are so proud of her.

A day to remember, October 15th

On this day all around the world candles are lit to remember our precious babies gone to soon. Last year I lit a candle for my sisters twins, Gloria and Selena, my fathers twin and all the other sweet babies in our family that never got to take a breath. I hoped and prayed that I wouldn't be lighting a candle for Jade's twins. Unfortunately this year my white candle had a name on it. As I thought of the other babies my precious Jewels name glistened in the light. I had a hard time going to bed that night because I didn't want to blow the candle out........
